Bunyodkor was founded on 10 October 1999 in Koson by the well-known Erkulov industrial family. It is now managed by the family’s third generation of textile specialists. Initially focused on cotton cleaning and processing, the company developed and patented the DPZ-180 Zikriyoyev saw-shaft gin. At the time, the Bunyodkor private enterprise employed just 50 people. It also became recognised for its contribution to cotton cleaning technologies, including linters, gins and other industrial equipment.

In 2005, new technologies and international specialists helped the company establish rotor-spun yarn production. By 2009, it had become a leader in cotton seed research and improvement, developing a unique packaging method for proper storage without loss of chemical or biological properties.
Since then, our company has recognised its responsibility to society and its local community, investing in district infrastructure and building socially important facilities.
In 2016, the company adopted a new development strategy in response to rapidly changing global markets and the favourable business conditions created by President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev. Following the cotton cluster economic approach, our company joined an innovative programme involving farmers and suppliers. This enabled better control of raw cotton costs and improved yields through productive farming practices, modern irrigation technology and investment in research.
By 2017, the company employed over 200 people. In 2018, rapid growth and the start of major phased investment projects led the Bunyodkor private enterprise to become BUNYODKOR LLC.
In 2018, the company modernised its yarn production capacity with European technology and equipment from Truetzschler of Germany and Rieter and USTER of Switzerland, as the first stage of a multi-phase investment project.
In 2019, Bunyodkor LLC successfully began operating as a vertically integrated cluster company.
By 2021, BUNYODKOR LLC established knitted fabric and garment production using equipment from global leaders including Terrot Pilotelli and ZSK of Germany and Juki of Japan.
In 2022, the company completed its second development stage, establishing ring-spun yarn and high-quality woven fabric production with equipment from Picanol of Belgium, Saurer Schlafhorst and Welker of Germany, and Staubli of Switzerland.
The company continues to grow and has begun the third stage of its investment project, focusing on new research and technologies that conserve energy and minimise environmental harm.
